@QuinnyPig @awscloud If you use the default/bundled kernel/openssl/java ... they'll re-initialize the RNGs for you, no effort required. If you're doing anything else in your inits that might need a reset, like a GUID or a timestamp, there's a new post-init hook. Usually a tiny code change.
