Trump can threaten to erase a country on social media and I can't tell Muslims in India to stand up for themselves against communal violence committed by Hindus. Welcome to life under non-Muslim authority...

2013 Presidential → 91% (record high) ↓ 2019 Parliamentary → 81% ↓ 2023 Presidential (1st round) → 79.9% ↓ 2024 Parliamentary → 75% ↓ 2026 Triple Polls (projected) → ~70% 📉 About 30% of eligible voters did not vote today. Turnout has been declining steadily, suggesting a growing disengagement with the democratic voting process. If this trend continues, participation could fall below 50% by 2030.

@hnveyru @Ahammadhaa If so then it's very sad. I wish to see a day everyone stops taking part in elections taken by this Shirkī system.

A tough night, but a journey worth every step. After 19 years in politics, this has been one of the hardest campaigns I’ve been part of.

The presidency evidently felt it could dismiss legitimate grievances and yet still command sincere support. Though much could be articulated, I prefer to amplify the faintest of these voices: the grievances that have emerged from the #EndVaanuvaa movement. It should be noted that the PNC is the only party in Maldivian history that has declared itself "proud" in its refusal to extend leniency to prisoners through amnesties or presidential pardons. They have, in fact, entirely discontinued the functions of clemency and parole boards. What is particularly noteworthy is that, only a few weeks before the elections, they facilitated the release of several influential individuals who had promised funding and endorsement for voters. This suggests a belief that such financial backing and dubious affiliations warranted more attention than leniency or mercy for the common plight of prisoners and their families. What we are witnessing is a direct consequence of such tyrannical policies, alongside a host of other grave concerns.

The Messenger of Allah (salallahu alayhi wa salam) said: “Whoever imitates a people is one of them.” How can one imitate the enemies of Allah, adopting their entire political system in which they take one another as lords besides Allah? #KufrDemocracy

Shia in Iraq have massively increased executions of Muslims these past weeks. “You will surely find that the most intense of the people in hostility toward the believers are the Jews and those who associate partners (with Allah)…” The level of alignment between the Jews and the (Shi‘a, who associate partners) in killing Muslims has reached astonishing proportions. In the very same week that the Israeli Knesset approved issuing a law allowing the death penalty to be applied to Palestinian Muslim prisoners, in that same week news began to leak of daily executions of Iraqi Muslim detainees in the prisons of the Shi‘a-led Iraqi government. With the Shi‘a, you do not need, when it comes to killing you, to wait for a parliamentary vote or the issuance of a legal ruling. As long as you are Muslim, the Shi‘a will not trouble themselves with all these formal procedures to kill you. “Bring a blanket and come collect your son.” This is the only sentence that will be said to your family after your execution, and this is the phrase now circulating in Iraq. Although executions of Muslim detainees have not ceased in Iraq since America handed over rule of Iraq to the Shi‘a, what is even more astonishing in this strange alignment between the Jews and the Shi‘a described here is that these current executions began secretly in Iraq at the start of the war against Iran and its militias, then were heavily exposed after the fourth week due to the succession of daily executions. Meaning: the Shi‘a in Iraq, when their former masters (the Americans and Israelis) began bombing them, did not think of anything except accelerating the daily executions of detained Iraqi Muslims. For them, Muslims are the primary enemy, an enemy before whom all others seem insignificant, and a calamity compared to which every other calamity becomes small. Even more astonishing is that some Islamists are still occupied with weighing which is more dangerous: the Shi‘a project or the Zionist-Crusader project. Then, those aligned with Iran go even further in this disturbing stance by demanding that the father, mother, and family of that killed Muslim, after receiving the call, “Bring a blanket and come collect your son”, side with the Shi‘a and stand with them as the “nearest enemy.” This is too much, by Allah… far too much. This is something that even an animal’s nature could not bear, let alone a human mind.” ʿAlī Farīd

What is more complete than what the Messenger of Allaah (PBUH) brought to us? Upon his hands Allaah completed and perfected His deen. He never spoke from his own inclinations. Whatever of words he uttered were none but a revelation! It is not but a revelation revealed, [53:4]
