@SkinnerPm That’s how my dad carried his service after he retired from the Navy. He didn’t want to be thanked. Thought it was silly.

My unasked-for opinion about veterans’ day is that it’s a nice thing to do. Especially for those drafted in previous wars. But also that service shouldn’t be your entire personality; it should be a meaningful & quiet part of your character. But I guess there’s no t-shirt for that

@SkinnerPm Working and going to school is always a juggling act. All the more so, I imagine with your job. I always had mostly regular hours, though a baby and a dissolving marriage kinda killed my grad school ambitions.

Exactly 3 weeks to go before finals for first semester of law school. And work and life aren’t on a semester schedule….I’m sure it’s fine
