Dear Ugandans on X,
I want to offer a sincere apology. My comment under Gen. Muhoozi’s post about Hon. Erias Lukwago was careless and insensitive. The timing was wrong, and the tone was wrong.
I understand that many of you are worried, upset, and angry right now because of his arrest. This is a serious moment for our country, and for a family that is waiting for answers. In that context, my words about “a teacher of English” made light of something that deserves respect and concern. I see that now.
I did not intend to hurt anyone or dismiss the pain people are feeling. But I’ve learned that intention does not change impact. My comment caused pain, and for that I am truly sorry. Ugandans deserve better from each other online, especially when we’re talking about freedom, justice, and human dignity.
I’ve read your replies and I’m taking them to heart. I’m reflecting on how I show up in these conversations. We can disagree, we can debate, but we must never lose empathy for one another.
Please accept my apology. I will be more thoughtful going forward.

King Saha.
I apologize to kazibwe kapo and Dr kwefu for lying to them. They told me not to attack kasolo and I said yes but I was lying. Just told them to make them feel happy but there was no way I was going to leave that stage without firing back to what he did to me 😅
@Dr_TheHistories@histories_arch The real question is: how did they get there?
Neither Black Africans nor Australian Aborigines have a maritime heritage.
Just had one of my biggest cultural shocks in Canada 🇨🇦😂
I had to explain to my colleagues that a football match ended in a DRAW.
Canada 🇨🇦 1–1 Bosnia 🇧🇦 yesterday and they were genuinely confused 😭
They kept asking: “So… nobody wins??
But here’s what really shocked ME:
Almost every sport in the world doesn't end in draws except for Boxing/UFC
And then it hit me…
Are draws in football actually a smart strategy… or just boring nonsense we’ve all accepted?
@UkJon@kylekirms@_marc_clark_ With Football, you are not utilised 100% of the time. Some players touch the ball less than 20 times in a game. Other times it's mainly movement from one side to another. As a result, having endless subs is totally baffling. Additionally, the players are trained for this.
@kylekirms@_marc_clark_ Rugby league has something like this where you only have 4 substitutes but you get something like 8 substitutions so you can come on and off more than once
I know this is a stupid American take... but every time I watch soccer, I cannot figure out the limited substitutions rule. Look how tired these players are. Just let them substitute. Think of how slow basketball would be if the same players had to play 48 minutes straight.
