@GUYERDIGITAL A few years ago I reported a homeless person starting a fire within 5-6ft of a building. I was told that "warming fires" are allowed & it didn't warrant a response. Basically, call back if it got out of control I guess. Seemed crazy to me then, still seems crazy to me now.

@PDXFire Few years ago now I called to report a homeless person starting a fire relatively close to a structure & was told to call back if it gets out of control & that a "warming fire" didn't warrant a response. I'll keep an eye out for those shoes they have on. Those are noticeable.

Portland Fire Investigation Unit hoping for some help from the community in identifying or locating a suspect involved in a fire that occurred at the Elephant’s Deli at 115 NW 22nd overnight. Attached are two clips of the suspect.

@Drumdums I went to see this yesterday specifically because Christian Bale is in it. While the film is a decent watch, it's nothing extrodinary. Cool twist on an older story told in a new way but ultimately it just wasn't that good.

Need your opinion. Is this even more of a sign that the day of the movie star is all the dead? I know Christian Bale isn’t the lead, but he is a heavy supporting.

@tarafaul503 As a 5year resident in the NW I have noticed this. Less tents & more just folks sleeping on the street. I think this is an unfortunate but needed shift to getting tents off the street & enforcing the egregious behavior of a select few. I appreciate your work @tarafaul503.

Homelessness in Portland is shifting. They’re cracking down on daytime tents by confiscating them and making arrests. Open drug use is being targeted as well. I know someone who fell asleep holding fentanyl foil and woke up to being arrested. People are sleeping on the sidewalk in blankets a lot now

I'll have to miss most of the first movie tonight (assuming there are 2 playing?!) due to a prior commitment and that stinks but I know that even though this series is coming to an end, @therealjoebob & @kinky_horror will find a suitable alternative for all us in the #MutantFam

@mediaartstalent Sadly, unless they were to replace him with someone worthy (have no clue who) Shudder’s subscription numbers will suffer greatly. It’s pretty much a Howard Stern / Sirius radio type situation IMO. My gut tells me JB will ride this horse for a little while longer at least.

@TheRealFarley As a resident in the NW district I've noticed over the last few months very few tents popping up around me. Only had 1 or 2 in the last 3 months. It used to be constant. I know they have migrated to other parts I'm sure but the change around here is noticeable.

Today in Portland: No Camping Notices now come equipped with resources to get them off of our sidewalks; to reunite with friends or family. Now that the Fentanyl-well is drying up, they are giving homeless drug-migrants the opportunity to receive a one-way bus ticket back home.
