Photos from the fire in the St. John’s neighborhood this morning.

Crews are on the scene of a residential fire in the St John’s neighborhood near the 9400 block of N Polk ave. Engine 22 arrived to an exterior fire threatening a home and are actively extinguishing the fire that is threatening 2 homes. Truck 22 is investigating the 2nd home.

The fire has been extinguished and crews are mopping up now.

Some of the exterior fire did ignite a nearby tree and crews are working to extinguish that now. Engine 22’s quick extinguishment of the exterior fire did prevent extensive fire damage to the two homes.

Truck 22 has confirmed that the fire in the second home has been knocked down and they are making sure that it has not extended to other portions of the home. Engine 22 has requested the fire investigator to help determine the cause of this fire.

The patient has been extricated and is being treated by AMR.

No serious injuries reported but an additional ambulance has been called to treat the second patient.

Crews are on the scene of a vehicle rollover near the intersection of NE Knott and 42nd. Engine 28 arrived to find one person trapped and another out of the vehicle. Truck 13 is tasked with extricating the one patient while Engine 9 backs them up in the case of a fire.

Incident recalled, no fire.

Crews responding to a possible high rise fire in the Lloyd district.

Apparently this crash occurred some time ago, not a recent event. No serious damage to the house and no injuries. Incident has been recalled.

Crews investigating a report of a car crash into a house in Overlook neighborhood.

This was an abandoned 1.5 story wood frame house with significant fire on the second floor that spread to roof. Interior of house was gutted with no Sheetrock. No injuries cause under investigation.

Crews responding to a reported structure fire in Centennial neighborhood.

This structure fire has been mostly extinguished 10 min after first crews’ arrival. Incident has been recalled.

Portland Fire is on scene of a residential fire in the Belmont Neighborhood. This is a defensive fire with too much fire to make entry. Second alarm requested. PIO en route shortly.

This was a hot fire that not only burned the hand of a responding firefighter through the glove, but there are plastic portions of the fire engines placed across the street that were also melted due to the heavy fire.
