More ventilation holes have been cut on the roof, and the attic is now clear. A fire investigator has been dispatched to the scene.

Truck 13 and Squad 12 are working on getting the solar panels covered with Visqueen.

All power has been shut down, and PGE has been dispatched to the scene. Truck crews have a ventilation hole on the roof, and they’re working diligently to make sure the fire hasn’t extended anywhere.

Truck 8 is getting a good knock on the fire that’s in the attic space, and conditions are improving. The fire was isolated to the solar panels and part of the roof.

Engine 24 has shut the power to the house off, and they’re looking for the battery panel that powers the solar panels. Primary search of first and second floor are all clear.

It’s confirmed this is an electrical fire from the solar panels, and crews are working on shutting the power off.

Engine 14 has arrived to a two story single family home, reporting smoke showing from the rear of the house, roof and the eaves. Possibly a solar panel.

A primary search has been completed and is all clear. The basement area is being preserved for an investigation. A fire investigator is enroute to the scene.

Clackamas Engine 301 is reporting they’re getting a good knock down on the fire in the attic space, with decreased heat and smoke.

Engine 11 has reported that the fire in the basement is knocked down.

Engine 25 is reporting active fire in the basement, and they are getting water on it right now.

Clackamas Engine 301 is reporting the fire is in the attic and they are working on getting a secondary hose line to the backside of the house.

Clackamas 301 has initiated fire suppression efforts, and Portland Truck 25 is gaining access for them.

Truck 25 has arrived reporting a working fire with smoke showing from the backside of the single story residence.

There was a previous fire at this location on July 15.

Crews from Portland and Clackamas are responding to reports of fire in the Brentwood-Darlington neighborhood.
