Friendly reminder to all arcade stick users. Test out different levers/parts for your lever. I've been using a 35 grommet this entire time. Finally bought a 25 like I used to use in T7 and my movement/execution are immediately better. It feels way more smooth too.

It’s time to head back to Korea. These past two weeks in the US have been quite a grueling journey. Once I’m back home, I’m going to take a brief rest, then get right back to practicing and grinding. Although the results of these two tournaments are a bit heartbreaking, I’ve regained my confidence and learned a ton through the hotel bootcamp. This year has been incredibly tough, but I refuse to give up. I will keep pushing forward until I achieve my goals. Also, a huge thank you to everyone at the venue who treated me so kindly. I’ll be back, stronger than ever.

Was on the game winning mixup vs this Kazuya and I accidentally fat fingered a Ki-Charge. He hit me back but I still won. Next game dude proceeds to ki-charge every round and even mid combo. Like dude could he not tell it was an accident, why would I ki charge before I won lol

@siahtoro Kazuya is just a super basic matchup that everyone knows. And he has no tekken 8 mechanics. No install, guard break, untech throws. His issue is he doesn’t rly Power creep like the rest of the cast. Relatively honest tekken

If THIS version of Kazuya is not strong, Kazuya has been bottom 1 in every preceding Tekken game. Your character can be strong! It’s okay!

How do you even downplay Kazuya with a straight face when he has a buffed ewgf, a mid like ff3 and a low like db4? ws1+2 tracking and his homing moves are godlike. Bamco gave him ff2 so he literally has an answer for any timing read and he gets wet dream oki off every knockdown

Me takeaway from EVO JPN for Tekken 8, the state of the game may just favour character loyalty and specialisation. Pick your main and believe in your ability.
