the most annoying part about playing a top tier in modern fighting games is that any genuine complaint you have about the game does not matter cause you'll get hit with "you play x character" which kills any nuisance you can have in a discussion just cause of a character you play

@Nigelfidel There’s a difference between not knowing a matchup and a character actually being carried. I know the Ak matchup and every Ak is still a challenge. I do agree zafina will carry you at lower levels, but not high level. Ak is much stronger and reliable.

@DapperPopz @Retr0Artist Dragunov barely needs your back to get his 1,3,2 string to fully hit and launch. Bryan’s is insane and might be some of the highest damage potential but you have to make sure you are directly at their back in order for 3,3,2 to hit guaranteed

Was having a convo w @Retr0Artist and I’m curious, what chars have the best BT conversions? Leo has some of the worst unless you get B11+2 on the back which guarantees df2 on most chars, but what tf do other chars get. Off the top of my head ik Steve has some of the best

@tyler_beecroft For whatever reason, it thinks you're trying to connect to a public network. It could be some weird security thing with your router blocking the console from interacting directly over Ethernet

@tyler_beecroft Can you try a different port on your router? Also, if you can access your router’s security settings you can try white listing the PS5s LAN MAC address.

Having a weird issue on PS5. WiFi works fine but if I try to use Ethernet I get this screen, which is what would normally pop up trying to connect to a public network that needs authentication like hotel WiFi etc. Tested with 2 different cables, changed DNS etc, nothing works.

@haze_tkn I almost wish there was a real, quantifiable way to determine who is top 1 or top 5 etc. I’d love to see a completely impartial breakdown for why Char A is actually the best in the game but tier lists are inherently shaped by matchup bias and encounter rate.
