@fizzychicken I'm not sure it's best seen as a problem solving excercise. Explorers didn't set off to the new world in search of solutions to European problems. I'd say the consensus would be that those endeavours were a good idea, so will these new missions in time.

Can someone please explain how private space flight is going to solve any of the big problems we're all facing ? Am I missing something ?
