Furthermore, the ppl saying it are almost always referring to getting thru the acute phase of the infection without much difficulty. They’ve no idea what vascular, neurological, immune and organ damage has been done.

“I had Covid and I’m fine”, is a statement I hear a lot. Unfortunately it doesn’t account for the hidden/delayed damage Covid causes. Some other dangerous viruses have minimal or no symptoms during the infection phase but cause major damage later. HIV can have no symptoms upon infection, for years, but lead to AIDS, HPV can have no symptoms, and lead to cancer. Perceived absence of symptoms or damage in the acute phase is not a safety net or a reason to feel comfortable catching Covid repeatedly. Avoid Covid.
