@sanguine_psyche Maybe this happens after Alastor rejects their partnership, thinking Vox just wanted to use him for power, letting fears get to him that night. Both grieve and regret in the morning. Vox thinks of this to get Alastor back and Al is secretly relieved (never losing Vox again)
