@60YearsAgoToday Why aren't these beautiful buildings preserved? It's now a kitchen shop in the same parade as my GP surgery. I've walked past this modern building so many times completely oblivious of the site's amazing history 😩

14 December 1963 – The Beatles play a special show for 3,000 members of their Southern Area Fan Club at the Wimbledon Palais in London. Afterwards, the boys shake hands with every one of them! It's their only show at the venue, which was demolished in the early 2000s. #TheBeatles
