I don’t think I witnessed acting like this before. Maybe a handful of times. But Sandra Hüller is SIMPLY EXTRAORDINARY. In fact, this entire drama (2 & half hours) is one of the most brilliantly written, directed, designed thrillers I’ve seen. We used to do drama as good as this. But not for a LONG time now. The film is predominantly in French, but much is in English. Multi-nominated for Oscars, & more, this is truly a masterpiece. And Sandra Hüller, who has a natural but unbelievably compelling presence, a face like a young Judi Dench/Kerry Fox, oozes empathy, interest & intelligence in every scene. And watch out for a scene-stealing dog called Snoop, played brilliantly by Messi, who won the Palme Dog Award at 2023 Cannes Film Festival! Monumental film! Anatomie d’une Chute. Anatomy Of A Fall.
