@WeekendInvestng The entire HDFC group is a sham. Exploitative tactics used while taking HL, PL or Car loans Rampant miselling at HDFC Amc and HDFC Life. Worst service levels at HDFC Credit Cards. The most useless staff at all HDFC bank branches. Only good business is HDFC Ergo. Rest suck !!

I have taken a auto loan from HDFC Bank twice in last many years and each time I am very disappointed in terms of lack of transparency, processes and documentation. I think this bank is unnecessarily placed at a mantle which is not really deserved. Never again now.

I can never shift back to NA Petrol now. It’s either Turbo with TC/DCT Automatic or an EV for me even as a sedate driver. I need torque on demand even if I need it 1 out of 100 times. Car in the video is Punch.EV 🚀

E20 impact on my E10 friendly VW Polo My 12 years old VW Polo has spark plug & injector issues thrice in 2 years. Total 1.50 lakh km done so far and it remained trouble free all these years because of the timely service, best quality engine oil (5w40 Motul) and sober driving. Now, I feel scared to drive it outside Ludhiana because it seems e20 fuel is ruining my engine parts.

@volklub Now they are targeting 27% ethanol blending. Will our current cars tolerates so much mixture?

The relief for income up to Rs 12 lakh is a rebate. Not an exemption. Meaning that you still have to file ITR to claim it. And it is not given on capital gains. So if you have 12 lakh LTCG and no salary, you don't get the rebate.

@aapkaapnacamera Ingress & egress especially for tall people and seniors are very bad in sedans , also the view from drivers seat is also bad for Indian roads , and at last ,ground clearance with Approach, breakover and departure angles, these are reasons for micro suv boom .

2000kms done on my Honda City CVT and here are my observations about this lil' beauty! - ITS A LOOKER! In the world of SUVs, sedans still remain very practical. The roads are constantly improving. The form factor itself is super-comfortable and delivers great performance. (1/n)

@devaiahPB Grndclrnc is main & just 1 reason, most Indian roads, speadbreakers & paths to shops/homes r also not engineered properly, sedans over 4m long has a high probability to hit the bottom of its front bumper everywhere even if it boastsGC another reason is ingress & egrs, seniorCitz

India's obsession with SUVs is something I'll never understand. I've been a car enthusiast forever. A lower center of gravity and reduced body roll mean supreme comfort. People rave about Innovas and Fortuners, but frankly, they're the most uncomfortable vehicles I've been in. Your body bobs from side to side, making you feel much more tired than if you were traveling in a sedan of a similar price range. Fuel efficiency is better in sedans. Sudden turns and the turning radius are much better in sedans. Driving or being driven in a sedan is far superior compared to an SUV or micro SUV. It's not as if we are off-roading or traversing the jungles of Nagarhole daily. In fact, your Seltos, Creta, or whatever else, actually can't even handle 4x4 terrain. The only explanation here is that Indians, being generally shorter, just feel good driving something bigger to compensate for their lack of height. It's a self-confidence thing and not much of an automobile thing. This SUV mania has driven sedans out of the market, which is pretty sad because those are actually built for comfortable drives on uncomfortable Indian roads. How can the entire country collectively disregard logic over an expensive purchase that often ends up with a 9-10% loan?

We need to understand the science behind high prices at airports : 1. Limited competition ( Only shops available in airport are competitors ) 2. Property rates or rentals is almost twice in comparison to outside prices. 3. The regulation quality is expensive as compared to outside due to security reasons.

I have been travelling in South East Asia for the last few days: the price of a Coffee at the Airport (or almost anything you'd like to eat) = what you'd pay in the city [The price difference would at most be 20-30%, depending on the specific Airport] But, in India, the price of a Coffee at the Airport would easily be= 2X that of what you'd in the city. And, this situation is just getting worse. I honestly, can't understand why? The argument that is usually given is: that RICH folks travel by Air, therefore, it is okay to charge them more. Not sure about this: it depends on how you define 'RICH'. For most families, they save money all year to take maybe 1-2 vacations/year. Overcharging them unnecessarily doesn't seem right by putting this 'RICH' tag.
