Why the f'ck do those 'cumulative updates' for Windows take so bloody long? On Omarchy I can do an update, restart, and continue to use the computer within 5 minutes. And don't get me started on how bloody long, tediously long, setting up an Windows 11 computer is these days.

Painful. Years back I was working in Boston, USA and I had an early morning flight to catch so I shut down the laptop - but no, it went in to a Windows needs to update and spent the next hour or so updating, over the painfully slow hotel WiFi, when all I desperately wanted to do was get some sleep. Probably was Windows 7 back then to be fair.
