🧊 Rumble offers monetization tools upon channel creation. YouTube has watch-time and subscriber thresholds to reach. Which one would you focus on?

I get Rumble is no where near YouTube. My question is given what I hear is a low effort to cross post. Can you get conversations to sales AND /OR help build your brand there? Versus just getting clicks/views. Is the low effort to post there worth the potential dollars you can make. ROI

On my end, I wonder what Rumble offers besides fewer ads. I stopped watching Twitch completely because I don’t want to pay for Turbo to remove ads—the creators stream on YouTube, and I get Premium there. So Rumble asking me to pay for no ads isn’t going to work right now unless they deliver content worth paying for another platform’s “Premium.” If they don’t have a premium version I can pay for, there’s even less chance I’ll stay. Again, unless the content is worth it—and so far there are too many friction points. I’m the kind of person who will pay any price as long as it offers what I need or want. HBO Max is worth the highest tier to me when I want to watch Game of Thrones or other shows. I agree with Brad that we need competition, and it is a hard—or better said, difficult—thing to maneuver.

@foglebr Brad, good to hear you’re back. Because of what I have going on right now I’ll probably be in listener only mode at least for the next 30 minutes.
