@Breaking911 Frequent flyer here. That is a typical line on any Monday morning in Atlanta. Took 6 flights last week and not one airport had TSA lines like the news is trying to promote. But Jim Crow 2.0 is in effect as they will charge you $45 if you don't have id.
English

@Breaking911 Democrats did that.
Remember this next November and vote accordingly.
English

@Breaking911 Maybe republicans should stop voting down bills to reopen the govt
English

@Breaking911 @ComfortablySmug Thanks to Ossoff and Warnock caring more about illegals than Georgians
English

@Breaking911 90 minutes just to clear security is brutal—at that point the stress of missing your flight starts before you even reach the gate. 😩
English

@Breaking911 This is going to draw more attention to the whole shutdown more than anything else. Unfortunate, hate to have people have to work for no pay of all things in an environment like this.
English

@Breaking911 ✈️ A 90-minute security line? This isn't an airport—it's a "Patience Testing Center"!
English

@Breaking911 Just went through there this morning. If you don’t have TSA pre you are screwed. Clear was closed because TSA won’t staff those lanes with the shortage
English

@Breaking911 Weird. I walked through TSA in Denver today in 8 minutes. And that’s because I chose the line with the people who have never been to an airport before.
English

@Breaking911 Imagine if we abolished the TSA and allowed airlines and airports to provide their own private security, immune from Congressional tantrums?
English

@Breaking911 Airports need faster processing and more staff 90 minutes is way too long for a standard security check.
English

@Breaking911 @GovRonDeSantis we must push for TSA to be privatized! Airport security responsibility needs to go back to airports! It’s clear that the government will not solve problems that it created! We must break free! This is the way!
English

@Breaking911 Welcome to the democrats shut down and there plans to destroy America from within. Call your democrat senator non stop and demand they stop the insanity
English

@Breaking911 Government shutdown day 30+: TSA agents working for free = 90 min lines. But sure, let's keep arguing about whose fault it is instead of just funding the damn thing. Priorities

English

@Breaking911 Hug a democrat official and say thank you as they skip the line and are getting paid.
English

@Breaking911 @kingmills11 Uhmmmm I’m flying out of jfk in 2 weeks can we figure this one out congress besties
English

@Breaking911 Take @TSA private. The government shouldn’t control immigration through voting and politics
English

@Breaking911 TSA staffing shortages related to the partial U.S. government shutdown.
English

@Breaking911 Hopefully this will encourage more people to drive instead of flying, if they can.
You miss seeing so much of our great country when you fly.

English

@Breaking911 It always cracks me up when they think this is a long wait. I've been in a TSA line and missed a flight, even though I arrived four hours early in ATL. TSA pre check was only 20 minutes on Tuesday.
English

@Breaking911 I genuinely think no one flew in Atlanta before 2016. 90 minutes is nothing compared to before. Used to be get there 4 hours early to be safe 10 years ago
English

@Breaking911 And to think, a month ago, I got to the airport that long ahead of my flight and had time to have 2 drinks before my flight on top of getting through TSA.
English

@Breaking911 Deff a TSA skill issue. After flying outta there a few weeks ago I can tell you ppl in the south are just slow.
English

@Breaking911 What’s interesting about this is that only American citizens have to wait and prove their identity.
Remember when illegals were fast tracked through and never had to provide any form of identification? 🤷🏻♂️
TSA is a joke. We should abolish it.
English

@Breaking911 90 minutes in security just to get on a flight with no legroom and a $9 water. At that point TSA should be issuing emotional support snacks.

@Breaking911 @grok What steps is TSA taking to prevent such extreme wait times in the future?
