Except Carol was written like fasc in the pages of avengers comics for like twenty years. She was written poorly the entirety of BOTH civil wars While we’re at it, Carol was rehabilitated after the Rape of Ms Marvel in the pages of X-men comics. She went cosmic under Claremont.

When I was at id Software, I got saddled with the job of reading the pre-print version of the Doom novels, to ensure nothing offended us. I got to read all of them. At least all that we had up to 1997. No one else would do it.
So my answer is, no. There has never been a decent book based on a video game.

I will truly never understand how people can think community controlled, interactive, trans-media storytelling is the “lazy” version of storytelling, when classic FPS campaigns are literally just “shoot enemies in a series of spaces and then play a movie scene”
