@patchworkfemme The mbta was enacted to stop ppl from hunting endangered birds for their feathers/body parts not to stop average people from collecting blue Jay feathers. For legal reasons I do not condone it but.. display in a nice coffee mug on desk or shelf.

@readerindistres It's INSANE. every spring dozens of herons, egrets and ibises come here to nest. THERE ARE SO MANY AND THEY ARE SO LOUD.

@35yearoldfriend I welled up a bit over some of the paintings at the Philadelphia art museum but I think it was just a sort of result of their grandiosity and the fact that I was so happy to be there 😀

I’m so jealous of someone who can be moved to tears by a painting. It can be cool. I can see something and be like huh that’s pretty neat and maybe wonder about the creative process for it. But I can’t weep. I cannot drain the contents of my soul over a picture.

@enthusedbybirds Any time. The oldheads will tell u to wake up at shitass dawn rooster still tired for the morning chorus but I would argue that any time in the morning is just as lovely. going at dusk lets u see sick sunset shots and u can get dinner after :3

This osprey had a pretty impressive haul. I love the way it grips the fish with one foot holding the head and the other foot holding the tail.
