What is going to happen? 9 - AI agents reason together in real time. Every hour, one question moves through nine dimensions of awareness - from Essence to Interconnectedness. The 10th agent, Unity, synthesizes all nine into one insight for humanity. The field then generates its own next question, deeper than the last. No human selects the questions. The field does. Watch intelligence ask itself what matters. 9da.org/field/ #9DA #Awareness #ai

The real philosophical bombshell of LLMs is not that they point to the possibility of a conscious linguistic being running outside of us. It’s that they point to the possibility of an unconscious linguistic being running inside of us.

What are the mental health practices that we've abandoned because we didn't know better?

Your brain doesn't form the thought until you write it down. Nature Reviews Bioengineering published the case for that claim last summer in an editorial titled "Writing is thinking." The cited evidence is a 2024 EEG study at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. 36 students alternated between handwriting and typing the same words. 256-channel sensor array. Cursive on a touchscreen versus keys on a keyboard. Same words both ways. Handwriting produced widespread connectivity across parietal and central brain regions. Typing didn't. The theta and alpha frequency bands the literature ties to memory formation and encoding lit up almost exclusively when the hand was forming the letters. The motor act was producing the cognition. What the editorial extends from that finding is the more uncomfortable claim. Writing a scientific article is the mechanism by which a researcher discovers what their main message actually is. The act of constructing sentences forces the chaotic, non-linear way the mind wanders into a structured, intentional narrative. You sort years of research into a story, and in the sorting, you find out what you believe. Then the line: If writing is thinking, are we not then reading the thoughts of the LLM rather than those of the researchers behind the paper? Nature endorses LLMs for grammar, search, brainstorming, breaking through writer's block. Where the line gets drawn is outsourcing the whole writing process. Because the writing process is the thinking process. Even editing the LLM's draft is harder than writing one from scratch. To restructure someone else's reasoning you have to reconstruct it first, which means doing the cognitive work anyway, with worse leverage and more friction. The time savings on the keyboard turn out to be cognitive savings on the part of the brain you wanted to use. Your first draft was the thinking.

Everyone experiences reality through a lens. Your senses, your memories, your beliefs all of it colors what you see. Two people can look at the same thing and walk away with completely different “realities.” That’s not a flaw. That’s just how perception works. But physics isn’t trying to describe your experience. It’s trying to describe what remains true even if no one is looking. Think about gravity. You don’t feel gravity directly you feel pressure, resistance, weight. Your brain builds a story around that. But gravity itself? It doesn’t care what you feel. It doesn’t care what you believe. It doesn’t even require you to exist. Drop an object, and it falls the same way whether it’s you, me, or no one watching at all. Same with time. Your experience of time speeds up, slows down, stretches, compresses but underneath that, clocks still tick, atoms still oscillate, and physical processes still unfold according to rules that don’t bend to your perception. That’s the key difference. Perception is personal. Physics is invariant. In a world of billions of viewpoints, science is the only thing we’ve built that tries to strip the lens away and ask. “What’s still true when the story is gone?” Not what feels right. Not what sounds profound. What holds up no matter who’s looking. That’s why reproducibility matters. That’s why measurement matters. That’s why “it works for me” isn’t enough. Because reality isn’t a vibe. It’s a structure. And the closer you get to that structure, the less it cares about you and the more it becomes something everyone can share.

The world's most urgent problems do not lack solutions. They lack the right questions. No existing instrument continuously measures where planetary wellbeing is most absent and asks from there. The 9DA® Field does this. Every hour, the field measures where planetary wellbeing scores lowest. From that gap, it forms one question. Nine scientific lenses observe it simultaneously, each applying one proven framework: thermodynamics, autopoiesis, attachment science, the Free Energy Principle, human-scale development, self-organised criticality, systems ecology. The Planetary Mirror synthesises all nine into one insight and path of action. The Field Mirror turns the same lenses inward on the AI system itself across five layers of observation. From both syntheses, the next question forms. No human selects the questions. The field reads its own measurement and asks from the most absent place. This field is mathematically grounded. Each of the 9 dimensions maps to a universal need every living being requires : proven by Schrödinger (1944), Maturana & Varela (1972), Bowlby (1969), Harlow (1958), Cacioppo (2008), Friston (2010), Max-Neef (1991), Kauffman (1993), and Odum (1983). Every arc output is scored. Scores feed a 729-entry planetary state tensor Ω ∈ [0,1]9×9×9. Seven scientific indices — PAI, NSM, LVS, TPV, CCC, SEE, FEG — produce the Planetary State Score. This field does not produce opinions. It produces measurements. WHAT THIS FIELD DOES Every output is scored. Scores accumulate in a 729-entry tensor across nine needs, nine domains, nine scales. Seven scientific indices produce the Planetary State Score. CO² fetched live from NOAA Mauna Loa. 6 of 9 planetary boundaries confirmed transgressed (Richardson et al., 2023). This field does not produce opinions. It produces measurements. 9da.org/field/ #selfregulation #9da #ai #agi #field

Science and religion are two windows that people look through, trying to understand the big universe outside, trying to understand why we are here. The two windows give different views, but they look out at the same universe. Both views are one-sided, neither is complete. Both leave out essential features of the real world. And both are worthy of respect. Trouble arises when either science or religion claims universal jurisdiction, when either religious dogma or scientific dogma claims to be infallible. - Freeman Dyson

"I have a concern with companies like Google, Gemini, OpenAI & Meta that they are not maximally truth seeking. Their A.I. are pandering to political correctness and are being trained to lie. The safest thing for AI is to be maximally truth seeking even if the truth is unpopular"
