Large Amount of Foreign Currency Detected at Hyderabad Airport On 16.04.2026, acting on profiling and suspicious behavioural indicators, the CISF CIW team at Hyderabad Airport intercepted an international passenger bound for Hong Kong. During detailed baggage screening near Departure Gate, concealed foreign currency was detected in the hand baggage. A physical check by the screener and CIW personnel led to the recovery of USD 48,550 (approx. ₹45.28 lakh). The passenger along with the recovered foreign currency was handed over to Customs for further necessary legal action. Shri Dattatreya Bhagwan 🪷 The Narmada river that originates in Amarkantak, in Madhya Pradesh is associated with the Datta Sampradaya (Datta tradition ) and is a very important place of worship for all devotees of Bhagwan Dattatreya. According to our Shastras, Bhagwan Shri Dattatreya daily visits Narmada river in the early morning for Snaanam before proceeding to Kashi for Ganga Snaanam and japam. The Narmada Parikrama is the Pradakshina of the entire Narmada river, that is done by devotees by walking bare- foot in Madhya Pradesh. This Parikrama starts and ends at Amarkantak and covers diverse villages, towns and forest routes. It is a really very difficult and ardourous Yatra, but bestows immense Punya and blessings of Guru Dattatreya on the devotee who completes this Parikrama. It takes about 2.5 to 3 months to complete this entire Narmada Parikrama by foot. The entire route of Narmada Parikrama is extremely mystical, and every devotee who performs this Parikrama has different divine sightings and experiences during this Parikrama. This route also has some negative energies which try to stop a devotee in completing the Parikrama by causing unexplained obstacles or difficulties during this Parikrama. This Parikrama thus tests the physical and mental resilience and will -power of every devotee of Shri Datta who undertakes it. Ashwatthama of Mahabharata who is a Chiranjeev (immortal), is always sighted atleast once in some form, by the devotee during this Parikrama. Mostly he is sighted in the form of a small fair child with a divine demeanour and bearing wearing only a koupinam vastra and having a bleeding wound on his forehead, during this Yatra. The Garudeshwar Mandir on the banks of Narmada river in Gujarat, is the Samadhi Sthalam of Shri Vasudevananda Saraswati (Tembe Swami) a great Datta devotee and saint from Maharashtra. He composed the powerful and invincible Ghorakashtoddharana Stotram of Datta. Another powerful temple of Shri Rangavadhoota Maharaj, a disciple of Shri Vasudevananda Saraswati, is present in Surat.
