@EverydaySens They need to hit pause on the stretch pass breakout. Carolina clearly had it scouted and picked it off every time, and they kept trying all game 1. Stop going to that well for a while, then see if you can get it back when they adjust to your adjustment.

Curious to see how Ottawa adjusts after watching film. I watched the game back and they actually had more time than it seemed live. A few chances (Tkachuk, Batherson, Sanderson) were rushed when they had space to make a play. Tight-checking, but you could see the nerves in game one. Could tell they felt like they had no room even when they did.

@alexadamsBTP_ I assume the bookmark on this is a Pitts or Philli fan wanting to dunk on me if they get to the third round. Fair enough! But if it's a Buffalo fan... Carolina got 111 points, and consistently gets out of the first round! There's no shame being only slightly less tough an out!

@alexadamsBTP_ I think Carolina is a (slightly) tougher out, but should you get through one of them, I'd feel better about going up against Pitt/Philly than TB/Monty in round 2, so it's tough to say which is better.

Ottawa will play either Buffalo or Carolina in the first round. Both are excellent teams, and yet I really like Ottawa’s chances in both series. Can’t wait for the playoffs to begin!
