Mehdi, can we just please put the partisan games away for one second and realize we need members of both sides to fight this fight? I’m genuinely asking politely and sincerely. He’s constantly under fire for exposing the truth about our relationship with Israel. You don’t have to sleep with him. You don’t have to love him or even like him. But please don’t join forces with Zionists to bury him on this issue. He’s right on Israel. We should encourage that.

I am torn. DeSantis is a brilliant mind. I have met him, heard him lecture - there are few who are his match intellectually - which is why he belongs on the Supreme Court. On the other hand, he is the most effective manager of a large bureaucracy that I have seen in my lifetime. For instance, I could see him being an excellent Vice President pick in 2028. That talent, which could really help the USA for decades to come - would be wasted, if he was on the Supreme Court.

NEW | The USS Gerald R. Ford is leaving the Middle East after 311 days at sea, a post-Vietnam record for a US carrier. Heading back to Norfolk, arrival mid-May. On feeds it's being framed as "the US is retreating." That's not what's happening. The USS George H.W. Bush arrived in the region on April 23, having left Norfolk on March 31. She took the long route around Africa (Cape Agulhas, Mozambique Channel) on purpose to get there. She was sent to replace the Ford, not to add to it. All planned weeks ago. The Ford was exhausted. 311 days at sea, ten months that included operations in the Caribbean, the capture of Maduro, the Mediterranean, the Red Sea. In March a fire in the laundry damaged seven compartments, displaced 600 sailors, forced the ship to stop at Souda Bay and Split for repairs. There was no putting it off any longer.

🚨$5 gas in Ohio! @POTUS - we fought for you to put America first. This isn’t it. We cannot let the left win in the midterms, but you are handing them victory with this single action. Declare whatever type of victory you need in Iran and GTFOH with that nonsense. There’s nothing more we can do without ground troops, and sending in ground troops will end your presidency. This isn’t political positioning; it’s political reality. I understand Susie Wiles’s position as Netanyahu’s former campaign advisor, but the people you need to turn out in the midterms don’t care. We care that it costs $35 bucks for 7 gallons of gas. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
