Welp I guess I learned a lesson today. Spent around 20 minutes adding open calls from a publisher to my spreadsheet only to find out they use (at least one) A.I covers. Always do your research folks!

Next Monday, my 17-year old is flying to California by himself to spend 2 weeks at UCLA by himself and I am reassuring myself every 2 nanoseconds that we’ve raised him to be capable and self-reliant and he’s got this. And then every other 2 nanoseconds I freak the fuck out.

Love seeing that folks haven't forgotten authors like Guy N. Smith, Ruby Jean Jensen, Shaun Hutson, and William Schoell. We live in a time when there is more horror fiction being published than ever before, so it's nice to see writers not falling thru the cracks.

Had to drive to the Hudspeth County Courthouse for the first time today. One of the clerks took me upstairs to show me the old jail cells. Cannot imagine three people having to stay in this cell.😱
