Will Miami-Dade and its Democratic mayor be a target here, too? Prop-tax revenues are growing in Miami even with rates cut slightly over the last couple of years. Bulk of county prop taxes go to sheriff, jails, Jackson hospital and MDFR.

Counties and cities should be accountable to the taxpayers they serve. They should NOT be treating their citizens like a piggy bank for bloated budgets. I was proud to travel with @GovRonDeSantis to announce our @DOGEFLA audit of Broward County and City of Gainesville spending. We are on a mission to prove that local governments CAN cut taxes if they take a hard look at unnecessary spending. I look forward to bringing in a new era of accountability.

Some good ideas for the DNC: washingtonpost.com/opinions/2025/… Dems must adopt strategies/tactics outside of the liberal vs. conservative, left vs. right binary: Be interesting. Run against the political establishment and the wealthy. Find compelling candidates. Focus on occasional voters.
