Apollo iOS 1.1.0 is out! 1.1.0 focuses on providing the ability to initialize the generated models manually. This makes it easier to write manual data to the cache; use models in unit tests; and create UI fixtures (loading states and Swift UI previews). github.com/apollographql/…

@Carnage4Life The people getting publicly fired are not entry level engineers either. Both of these people seemed closer to architects from the way they were able to speak about the code

@clemcardonnel @apollographql Yes, that is calling into the old tooling. We also recommend only running codegen when you make changes to your GraphQL files instead of every time you build!

@AnthonyMDev @apollographql - I also don’t know if I’m supposed to remove the Generate Apollo GraphQL API Build Phase. I imagine it’s redundant now.

@apollographql Hi! I've spent the evening trying to migrate my iOS codebase from 0.53 to 1.0. But I had many issues and had very little resources to figure out how to solve them. Is the team preparing a migration guide of some sort? Thank you!

@clemcardonnel @apollographql We hadn't learned about XcodeProjectPlugins until after shipping 1.0. We fixed this in the main branch and it will be in 1.0.1 shipping in the next few days. Try the main branch for now!

@AnthonyMDev @apollographql Thank you for proposing to help! Here are my concerns: - The Get Started guide doesn’t mention how to set up the CLI with an Xcode Project (step 5). - I went to the Code Generation section and attempted so set up generation with SPM. But I’ve got this error when running anything
