@peterbrodersen I så fald betyder det jo ikke, at der ikke er nogen medarbejdere, der har handlet (eller måske nærmere ikke handlet) forkert. Spørgsmålet er, om de har gjort noget *strafbart* forkert.

Hvis Skat får bøder i milliardklassen, så vil jeg naturligvis mene det samme, ja.

@peterbrodersen Det er IMO ikke helt det, systemet siger, hvis Nordea ligesom Danske Bank ender med bøder i milliardklassen. Og jeg synes, spørgsmålet om individuelt forsæt er ret væsentligt.

@ApolloCph Jeg synes, det virker tyndt, når man har et lovpligtigt ansvar, som man vælger ikke at leve op til. Personerne kan tilsyneladende gøre det samme igen og igen, når systemet fortæller dem, at de ikke behøver at leve op til deres samfundsbestemte pligter og ansvar.

Formålet er jo ikke at straffe pæne, ordentlige mennesker, som medvirker til hvidvask og ikke lever op til lovgivningen. De skal have lov til at gøre det igen og igen, for det er jo ikke deres skyld eller ansvar.

@bradheath Also, we actually don't do one-night elections over here. Votes are cast across four days, electoral systems differ per country, and votes are counted through several days to reach final results.
But we manage to coordinate things nicely to get provisional results on one night.

Many states allow absentee ballots to be counted if they're mailed by Election Day. This includes ballots by members of the armed forces voting from overseas.
(But some states could make it faster by allowing pre-processing of ballots that arrive early.)
