@Apxvoid Okay but how can any standard Mage cards compare to Scholomance. Even if you’re talking about wild here, you still gotta put that shit through standard for over a year.

A little disappointed that every time mage gets a fun/good deck it just gets nerfed until its bad, but more disappointed how unsatisfying mage card design has felt every expansion since Scholomance.

@SnuggleKingHS It would be nice if big spell mage was a more consistent deck that didn't revolve around barbaric soreress cheese or drawing and being able to play balinda. Many of the spell school synergy (frost and fire) cards are just really bad or not interesting to play.

@Apxvoid Do you have opinions on what would you like to see buffed or new cards entering Mage to make it more competitively viable?

Also wanted to add that the most recent expansion is definitely a step in the right direction for mage I liked what they did with naga's but I don't love the recent balance changes and mini set didn't seem to improve the game much as it has in the past.

and then when it gets nerfed we're stuck with a bunch of low power cards that don't offer anything without the synergy that they were designed for. Not to mention all the never viable decks that have no usability (fire mage cards, frost mage, big spell mage until recently)
