@SandraZet82 @SandraZet82 CI/CD platforms like Codemagic will run builds for you. You'd still need an Apple machine (physical or remote) in interactive mode to try your code before Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.

Day 4 (I think I missed one): today I am working with Codemagic, RC and Apple Store. I am a bit worried that it will take ages to publish on iOS (with Flutter and Codemagic without a MacBook) but like always it will be done super fast, I guess.

Just submitted my iOS app to App Store after 8 hours of code signing hell. Built with Capacitor + Cursor + Claude Code. Same codebase as my web app. The 87% AI wrote was easy. The Xcode signing flow was the part nobody talks about 🧵

@_studyeveryday @_studyeveryday most developers use a third party for internal distribution, for example Bitrise. You should be better off with a free account, compared to using TestFlight for this.

TestFlight is such a faff! Have to get the build approved so I can generate a link to the app. Validation errors on save but no messages. Frustrating! Site is surprisingly buggy for a trillion dollar company. Had one validation error that would appear for 1 second after clicking save and then vanish.

@useblacksmith OMG Xcode Cloud has been driving me insane and it's so annoying having my blacksmith android builds take 4 minutes and my ios xcode cloud builds take over 30 minutes. This is a godsend!

Blacksmith Mac Runners are here. M4 Pro chips. Local NVMe storage. 2-4x faster builds vs. GitHub-hosted runners. If you're building for Apple, your CI just got a serious upgrade.

For years React Native teams have experimented with different deployment pipelines for their app. Bitrise, Codemagic, EAS... etc Nothing hit the mark - especially combining OTAs. @codingwitharman writes about our custom in-house native and OTA CI/CD process for React Native

@capawesomeio @capacitorjs @Ionicframework This is quite nice! The tricky part is to generate the iOS installation manifest dynamically. HockeyApp was doing it and then Bitrise. Capacitor users have it now which is cool.
