@Beth_Capper Hi Beth. At the moment you need to make a reservation during the booking process when booking your ticket with us online. If the journey is showing as sold out you will be able to purchase a walk-up fare at the station and head over to our unreserved coach 😊 - Sama

Hi @AvantiWestCoast, your 2.38 Wolverhampton to Penrith is 'sold out' tomorrow. Does that mean no reservable seats but you can stand or does it mean I can't book that train at all? Thanks!
