It gave collectors an entirely different side of the Pokémon world, with darker artwork, iconic villains, and some of the most memorable cards ever printed. More than 25 years later, collectors still chase the set not just for its rarity, but for its atmosphere. It remains one of the most iconic and influential Pokémon TCG sets of all time.

Pokémon trading life is not always a bed of roses. The earlier you accept that this market has downtrends, the earlier you will reach your inner peace. Mega Charizard ex 110 may be the most iconic Charizard ever illustrated, but this doesn’t prevent the price from crashing. It is currently trading on average at ¥122,000 ($750) after peaking in June around $1,000. Could this go lower? Possibly. Is this a good moment to enjoy the Japanese chase? Highly probable. Nevertheless, the long-term play ALWAYS wins. Don’t be a paper hand.

@ItsaMeCooper I agree, ripping packs overall has not been a enjoyable experience for me Although I do love it Never get any big hits. So I adjusted to one pack per purchase and hope to get lucky 😂😂 Regardless a great card to have for the long run

@BlueWizardTC True. But pack ripping is also a gamble. Inferno X is around $130 and still underrated. Loose packs can’t be trusted. I don’t think we’ll see the ¥60k mark again, IMO.

@cardrestocks Walmart this morning Might be the best 2 pack blisters in a while aside of Ascending but the promos are without a doubt the best Rarely see the Dialga tin so decided to get it 🤷🏼‍♂️
