The Pokémon scalper war in Japan has reached a breaking point. Stores are now literally cutting the corners of booster packs at checkout to kill the resale value. If we’ve reached the point where we have to mutilate the product just to keep it in the hands of fans, the hobby is in serious trouble. This isn't a solution; it’s a symptom. And it’s only going to get uglier. Valid move or total desperation?

@AI_Alex_in_Web3 I reckon things are only getting worse. I appreciate stores doing what they can, but Japan seems to have a huge invasion of Vietnamese/Chinese scalpers, which seems very bad.
