It worked. Branny was a very effective player who could play many different roles on a very affordable contract & likely to remain inexpensive. Staios has made it clear he’s interested in a certain type- the same type that Brian Burke targeted for years in Toronto and uhhhhhh

Ottawa wanted to add grit to their lineup. With Eliasson and Yakemchuk...they did that...in spades.
