Smith has 1 first team all pro 1 second team. Not on an all decade team and 0 super bowl appearances. Again better safeties like Thomas haven't even made it.

I’m sorry but I just have zero faith in JJ McCarthy developing. He will obviously improve a little because he can’t get any worse. But they basically need to turn him into a different person with his footwork, mechanics, and field processing. That’s asking for a miracle.
