@LMAOmaster2003 @MericaCulture Well I'm not black, if anything I might probably be part of a Spanish descent family that would run a plantation, slavery in Puerto Rico was abolished in 1873 eight years after the USA I'm just saying since I like American culture,history etc it wouldn't be the worse for me

An interesting tidbit of history is that many prominent leaders in the Confederacy, including Jefferson Davis, had dreams of a tropical empire that spanned the Gulf of America and extended down into South America. How different would our world be if this had come to fruition?

Two days before the end of the Okinawa campaign, Captain Dusenbury and his men were involved in wiping out remaining pockets of resistance.  A Japanese sniper shot him in the back at the battle of Shuri Castle, severing his spinal cord and damaging his liver and kidneys.  After a long recovery, he returned to his home in Florence in 1946, and retired as a Major.  He had to spend the rest of his days in a wheelchair, but he remained active, both as a farmer and as a South Carolina legislator.  He also received Clemson’s Alumni Distinguished Service Award.  In 1976 he died of complications of his long-endured injury. Captain Dusenbury was awarded a Silver Star, Navy Cross and a Purple Heart. Go cry about Trump some more 🤡

@notursriram1111 @sanpellyenjoyer I know, but in America at least, when someone says Asians they mean someone from Japan,China etc. When its someone from say Iraq or Saudi Arabia they are usually called middle eastern or sometimes just Arabs and for your kind your just called indians

@surprisedonkey @missus_wormy I'm "technically" not a American if separation were to happen I don't know what will happen to where I live, maybe independence or back to spain.. I'm just saying you Mainlanders should work it out or something before you start killing each other, with separation as a option

@DweeBwae @stacycay @missus_wormy Polling puts it at only 42% Republican. Their governor is Democrat aligned. It is conservative and Dems are the conservative party, thats why it would be Dem state.

@DweeBwae @stacycay @missus_wormy PR would be purple (I live on the island) people here like big government helps, meddling and stuff but are very socially conservative and religious like the south,they mostly don't like gay,trans stuff especially in public

@stacycay @missus_wormy The kind of majority needed in the senate implies constitutional reform will be almost impossible. Secondly, PR would likely be coming in as a republican state.
