Honest question: When a regime like Iran’s becomes more brutal, with more killings, more executions, and more corruption, yet still gets engagement from Europe…
What exactly is the principle here?
In any normal system, worse behavior leads to consequences, not accommodation. So why does that logic seem to flip at the international level?
