They only have superficial similarities when it comes to symptoms. That’s it. Is that not an extraordinarily weak comparison?

I transitioned as a child. It saved my life, period. It was the only thing that did.

Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean it’s ineffective. It’s overwhelmingly beneficial.

The neurology is fundamentally different, despite BDD and AN being relatively similar. So they can’t really be compared like that.

GD is associated with thicker ones.
Even the neurology is completely unique.

Trans people are given psychotherapy and antidepressants. They can provide moderate symptomatic relief. But the only thing that truly solves GD is transitioning.
The root of the problem is being born in the wrong body.
