Every time a school system pays some shyster to come in and peddle a BS alternative to discipline and accountability, the American public educational system gets worse. We've trained a generation of young people to believe that they are not responsible for their bad decisions.

Hey, @nike! My wife is a physician and dietitian, has four kids, is a track coach, and runs a busy household while maintaining great exercise and eating habits. How about giving her an endorsement deal, instead of a skinny dude in lipstick?

I don’t know what NCAA Women’s Basketball or @espn has done different this year in their marketing, but for the first time ever I’m watching the women’s final four. Hopefully there’s a few more tuning in for the first time.

@coachdeesmith Monday & Thursday : extra day of recovery in there but still gives a long weekend. Have been at a place that went Mon-Thurs 7:00-9:00, just felt like it wasn’t necessary so we only went 2 days/week and it’s worked great. Kids have jobs, some to pay bills, let them have a summer.

Monday-Wednesday training/practice is the ideal summer schedule for HS athletes and families.

The goal of HS Athletics is for your child to learn how to be a better person, learn how to compete through tough times no matter what. Learn how to be corrected and improve daily. The goal is not an athletic scholarship, that’s a result of genetics mixed w/ tremendous work ethic

Don’t coach baseball anymore but in the last 5 years I can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked through and suggested to 15-17 yr olds to try holding their bat level at the top of the zone, only to get looked at like I know nothing and go back to a 45 degree bat angle.
