Our volunteers made a big splash at the Walk for Water fundraiser! We donated approximately $19,000 to support @water_mission's work to combat the global water crisis.

We presented about water careers to students at @HGMSBulldogs! Students were guided through the requirements for various positions—from entry-level roles to those requiring college degrees—and were given a peek into the wide range of career opportunities in the industry.

We presented to a Civil Engineering and Architecture class at @CCSMS2day! During the session, students learned the fundamentals of water distribution, including how to calculate water pressure and system losses.

Shout-out to Safety Manager Michele McCutchen, recognized by the @ASSPSafety Lowcountry Chapter for 25 years of safety leadership! Safety is our number one priority, and her dedication and expertise are a cornerstone of our safety culture.

GIS Operator Kayla Bolling got a front-row seat to our water treatment process! Staff in our Associates Academy went behind the scenes at our Hanahan Water Treatment Plant. The hands-on experience is part of turning good teammates into great ones.

Our team rolled up their sleeves and volunteered for the Lowcountry!🦪 Alongside @SCDNR, we built oyster cages to extend a reef near our Plum Island Wastewater Treatment Plant. We’re fortifying the shore in front of our plant to help protect our infrastructure!

Our Innovation Team recognized Nikayla Pinckney, Andrea Singleton & Tonya Brown from Customer Service! Their ideas support streamlining the customer experience, improving CWS vehicles and keeping our folks cool and comfortable on the job.

For National Groundwater Awareness Week, here's how we handle landfill leachate (garbage juice). It's too strong for direct treatment, so it's trucked to a pump station & blended with community wastewater for processing, keeping it out of the environment above our water intakes.
