Israeli Opposition Leader @yairlapid issued a stark warning tonight: "We are facing another security disaster." The IDF Chief of Staff reportedly warned the Security Cabinet that the military will "collapse in on itself" because of manpower shortages. Reservists are exhausted after endless rounds, pulling them away from their families and jobs—as the government tries to exempt the Ultra-Orthodox from the draft. Channel 13 reported today that Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir is warning the IDF needs a conscription law, a reserve duty law, and an extension to mandatory service in order to fulfill its growing routine missions. Now Lapid is warning: "The IDF is stretched to the limit and beyond." He's urging the Netanyahu government to "stop the cowardice, immediately halt all budgets to the Haredi draft dodgers, send the military police after the deserters, draft the Haredim without hesitation, and must fight Jewish terrorism with all means." "The warning has been given," he said. "It's on your heads. It's on your hands. You cannot continue to abandon Israel's security, in wartime, for petty politics. As was once customary to say: Let the IDF win."

Doug Ford‘s priority is to protect himself - not Ontario. Ontario‘s economy is reeling with high unemployment, high deficit spending, job losses and a practical freeze in new housing. Instead of focusing on these issues, Doug Ford‘s budget retroactively changes laws related to retention of public documents. Was somebody about to be charged by the RCMP in the Greenbelt scandal? Will these amendments avoid those charges? We need answers and not secrecy! #onpoli #budget

@TheresaLubowitz Your podcast got me thinking (as usual). If the RCMP were about to charge somebody in the Ford government with not properly maintaining records related to the greenbelt scandal, wouldn’t that explain the retroactive FOI changes that they are now talking about? Maybe they are trying to forestall the charges before they come and the cell phone is just a distraction.

The Combatting Hate Act passed in the House of Commons this week.    That’s a huge step forward in our mission to build a stronger, safer country where everyone — no matter who they are or how they worship — can live free from violence and intimidation.

This is truly insane, and it should be front page news across America.  Denmark secretly deployed soldiers to Greenland prepared to blow up airport runways to stop a U.S. invasion. They brought blood supplies to treat the wounded. France, Germany, Norway, and Sweden quietly coordinated against us. This was not a drill. This was our closest allies preparing to fight Americans. Let that sink in. NATO allies. Countries whose soldiers have fought and died alongside ours for decades. They looked at this president and decided they had to prepare for the worst. Fewer allies does not make America great. It makes us more isolated, more vulnerable, and it hands Russia and China exactly what they have always wanted: an America abandoned by its friends. The American people deserve to know how badly this president has damaged our standing in the world.  bbc.com/news/articles/…

The horrors! “Des Rosiers was inducted into the Order of Ontario in 2012, and was inducted as a Member of the Order of Canada in 2013 for her work in civil rights and Francophone advocacy, and was accepted as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada in 2014. She was named one of Canada's 10 "nation builders" by the Globe and Mail in 2014 and was named one of Canada's 25 most influential lawyers by Canadian Lawyer in 2011 and in 2012.” en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nathalie_…

Vanier College in Montreal has cancelled a planned Holocaust memorial because it was deemed too political. Commemorating the Holocaust is not a political position - it’s a historical fact. Now more than ever, people should learn what happens when Jew-hated is normalized and rationalized.

Read our full statement on the recent harassment campaign against Mississauga Mayor @carolynhparrish for her stance in support of the right to protest Israel’s genocide of Palestinians: We commend Mayor Carolyn Parrish for displaying immense pertinacity and not being browbeaten and harassed by a foreign-interest group on Canadian soil. Her principled position comes at a time when it’s all too easy to cave in and accept the Zionist status quo of apartheid and ethnic cleansing in Palestine. Recently, statements made by Mayor Parrish have been picked up by the Zionist lobby in Canada, which has stirred up a massive harassment campaign against her for standing up for the rights of activists protesting Israel’s genocide of Palestinians. The Zionist lobby is notorious for cherrypicking facts and reassembling them in a confused ahistorical mishmash. Their greatest concern recently, has been Parrish’s comparison of Yahya Sinwar to Nelson Mandela, claiming Mandela is a “human rights hero” as opposed to Sinwar who is a “terrorist”. The Zionist lobby has thus excoriated Parrish’s claim of “terrorism” being an ideologically charged term, however quite on the contrary, she is objectively accurate with her assertions when she claims “your 'terrorist' and somebody else’s 'terrorist' may be two different things.” It was the Zionist lobby itself that first took on the mantle to label Nelson Mandela a "terrorist". The Anti Defamation League initially backed the fascist apartheid regime in South Africa, labelling Nelson Mandela’s African National Congress “totalitarian, anti-humane, anti-democratic, anti-Israel, and anti-American.” AIPAC was influential in making sure Mandela remained on the US Terrorism list. Israel itself propped up apartheid South Africa, forming a close military and economic alliance- one that foundered and sank after Mandela became the President. For years, Israel along with other countries categorized Nelson Mandela as a terrorist due to his resistance efforts, only to later celebrate him as a hero of justice and freedom. The Zionist lobby is completely overlooking the evolution of public perception, ignoring the complexities behind such designations, and underestimating the public’s ability to recognize these historical inconsistencies. As a staunch Zionist, let me say without hesitation, arrest these criminals and throw the book at them. Violent tribalism should never be accepted. If we're going to have peace in the region, we can't let extremists control the narrative through acts of terror.
