@AltGemCap @ducksays Before I worked in finance I tried several business ventures that went bad. I learned many lessons from experience and working in the banking industry and was able to come back from near bankruptcy. Part of the reason why I want to help people with their finances !
English

@ChrisJSaud @ducksays How are you a former banker with around the median of net worth? You spent alot?
English

@Wombat11412 @oliverburdick Swing and a miss because you say so? These were universal Christian doctrine for 1500 years.
And wedding at Cana was the best example of intercession
English

@ChrisJSaud @oliverburdick No. Swing and a miss. I know too much doctrine to accept your statements. Paul did not urge people to pray to dead saints. And there is no verse that says Mary intercedes for anyone, let alone doing it perfectly.
English

Fair point on the dictionary. The theological distinction matters more though.
1 Timothy 2:5 — one mediator. Catholics agree completely.
But read two verses earlier: Paul urges that prayers and intercessions be made for all people. He’s talking to the whole church.
We all intercede for each other. That doesn’t make us co-mediators with Christ; it makes us members of His body, participating in His one mediation.
Mary does what every Christian does. She just does it perfectly, from glory.
English

@ChrisJSaud @oliverburdick No, CJ. We do not agree, because Scripture does not agree.
Neither does a dictionary:
“intercessor”
noun
One who goes between, or intercedes; a mediator.
Similar: mediator
One who interposes between parties at variance, with a view to reconcile them.
English

@homen2 @oliverburdick Interesting comment considering the Catholic Church is the one that compiled the books in the Bible
English

@ChrisJSaud @oliverburdick When you people make these kind of comments it just exposes Biblical illiteracy
English

@AxleBill24219 @oliverburdick Didn’t we have this conversation like three days ago? Lol
English

@ChrisJSaud @oliverburdick Let's simplify. Mary can't hear your prayers. She's not omnipotent. And when did Jesus tell us we were to pray to Mary?? He did not.
English

@ComeHometoRome It truly feels like that sometimes lol can’t we all just get along?
English

@lebanesesami Getting married is the best decision I’ve made in my life!
English

@BookOfRevelatio @ChrisJSaud @Verlustt11 Why did you worship many gods when you were Catholic? Are you stupid?
English

You won’t believe what we Catholics believe…
Miss Lizard@adelethelaptop
Nope, Jesus Christ is the head of the church.
English

@BookOfRevelatio @Herr_Oberst45 @Verlustt11 You obviously cannot if every Catholic on here is telling you that you’re mistaken….
English

@Herr_Oberst45 @ChrisJSaud @Verlustt11 I can speak for all Catholics I was one I found Jesus when I read the Bible for myself and turned away from that pagan church..
English

@RebuiltByGrace Absolutely! Gotta stay grounded in our stewardship
English

@ChrisJSaud That’s powerful 💯
One builds the account, the other builds the man.
