So, as long as a person is alive, he has a “second chance” to accept Christ & be saved—& a third etc., chance John 3:16; Romans 10:9–10; Acts 16:31 Once u die-no more chances.

The reason, I suspect, you won't deal with my points is because you know they completely refute you. If you admit God has consistently used intermediaries and shared His power and authority with others throughout Scripture, then you have no basis to say He cannot do so with the forgiveness of sins. All of the verses you cited thus become impotent. If you acknowledge that the phrase “forgive sins” is never used to refer to “preaching,” then you must yield to the Catholic’s straightforward interpretation of John 20:23. But you can't have that, can you? Hence the tap dancing and wasting my time. Bon voyage!
