Auto Vs Disabled

@TomoTheTechie motherboard is ASUS B650EM MAX GAMING WIFI on the latest bios. loaded optimized defaults and didn't touch anything, left is iommu auto which was default right is iommu disabled. basically the same i'm honestly surprised that my cpu numbers are that high with no expo or pbo

What motherboard do you have? If you could go into the bios, save the current bios profile, then load optimised defaults and check what setting IOMMU is set to, if it is auto then save and exit and run a benchmark for me. Then go back into the bios and set IOMMU to disabled and run the test again. I've been able to replicate my results across 2 different motherboards right now, as well as using a 5070Ti.

@TomoTheTechie i did some more tests and there's so much variance with cpu fps that it might just be margin of error, but here is iommu auto left and disabled right in 2 more tests i just ran

@TomoTheTechie here is resize bar disabled with iommu on auto on the left and disabled on the right, oddly same gpu frames and slightly lower cpu frames with iommu on auto

@PowerGPU If its not showing up you can do "wusa /uninstall /kb:5074109" in an admin cmd / powershell. If you have it then it'll uninstall and if not then it'll say "The update is not installed" and you don't have to do anything.

Tried out the windows 11 update KB5074109 AMD 9959x3D suffered bad losses in performance 40-50 FPS My other build with a 13900KS same GPU only lose around 4-7 FPS in Arc Raiders. Star Citizen had no performance issues on both systems. Just to be safe on the search in Windows 11 type “Uninstall updates” and look for (KB5074109) just click uninstall and follow the steps. - @JeseMartinez

Same PC. Same tuning. Same everything. The left benchmark is on an account with 750 Activision friends. The right benchmark has 0 friends added. Look at the CPU numbers.

Fun facts: Customer Service reports for Borderlands 4 at roughly 1% or so of installs. Using that simple, rounded ratio… More than half of the tickets (~0.55% of customers) are users reporting difficulty with their SHiFT accounts (lost e-mails/access, etc). The next highest ticket is about FoV controls on console (working on it). Next, 0.055% of customers are reporting issues with Twitch drops. And, 0.04% of customers are PC performance related, with CS flagging 0.009% as “valid”. 0.037% have experienced success with education (settings coaching). That is less than one percent of one percent (0.01%) of customers using CS tickets for valid performance issues, which is less than 1/5 of the users using CS to get help with Twitch drops. This reality is dramatically different than what you would expect if your only sources of information were, say, certain internet threads. Here’s the most important truth: We exist to entertain you. We want *every* customer to have the best possible experience. We are not stopping - working day and night to not just add more and more awesome stuff to the game that critics and fans seem to be in nearly unanimous agreement have made Borderlands 4 the best game in the series, but also to continue to improve the technical aspects of the software, especially for the wide range of configurations on PC’s. As we go, know that CS is there to help. Know that for the vast majority of people reporting issues, CS has been able to help! Everyone who has real issues is someone we care about - we want to help everyone because we want everyone to enjoy the game! I thought these stats would be interesting to some of you and be useful perspective if you are getting your feelings from others on-line.
