I created a font called Ghost Font that only humans can read. Tested it in Fable and GPT 5.6 Sol Ultra and neither was able to decipher it correctly.

The health bar for enemies (and all HUD elements, actually) is a visual abstraction to provide feedback about the actual data the system is processing. You can even see the crit element popping on hit while the bar waits for its turn (smoothly).

Hallowed Concepts brings two new item tiers to Risk of Rain 2, Hexes and Hallowed Items.
Hexes: these bring suffering to your run with no upside.
Hallowed Items: mythical items that grant legendary power.
You need to first grab the former to transmute them into the latter; how this is done will be revealed at a later date.

@SandyofCthulhu Command HQ was brilliant, Sandy. One of the central games in the CompuServe Modem Games Forum before DooM. It is the progenitor to Warcraft and Command & Conquer and all RTS owes something to Command HQ.

I actually was the producer on Command HQ at MicroProse, a game intended to be mainly played via modem. It was one of, if not THE first RTS game. Sales were abysmal. Maybe not entirely it's fault, since MicroProse was losing it at the time.
When we at id Software were working on Doom in 1993, we discussed my experience with Command HQ and agreed that it seemed likely few people would ever play PvP, or as we called it, Deathmatch.

Yes, and here is WHY Doom was the most important PC game of the 90s.
Before Doom, computer games were played solo, with vanishingly few exceptions. Console games like Mario Kart of course were head-to-head, but you had to be in the same room.
