Palestinian American Ibrahim Inshahi ( @punsznn ) says establishment Democrats are trying to break Black-Palestinian solidarity. In a new substack Ibrahim speaks of the pattern he noticed months ago in liberal spaces, where Democrat-aligned influencers have reduced Palestinians to “white” as a way to ignore their oppression. Many of these influencers claim Palestinian oppression is not racial oppression and therefore should be ignored. Ibrahim says the argument is not trying to be correct. Instead, he says, it is trying to form a wedge between the Party’s most loyal voting bloc and Palestinians. It’s important to note that some of these influencers are funded through the Congressional Black Caucus, whose number one donor is… you guessed it… AIPAC. While the Party refuses to release the autopsy over what went wrong in 2024, poll after poll has shown that Gaza was one reason the Party lost support. It seems that instead of listening to Palestinians, the Party’s option has been to demonize them by proxy through its influencers.
