Our vote on E-15 Ethanol today is to remove the regulation that prevents year around sale. It is not a mandate for consumers. In fact, we want to give consumers an added choice.

This is a GREAT Day for Nebraskan farmers. The House voted to advance year-round E15 today. Nebraska farmers have made clear that making E15 available year-round is their number one priority. E15 is a lower-cost fuel option made with American ethanol. It is not a mandate. It simply gives consumers another choice at the pump. At a time when farmers are facing lost corn exports and tight margins, year-round E15 would strengthen our agricultural economy, support domestic energy production, and help lower costs for families. The President has said he supports year-round E15, and it’s past time to remove the outdated regulations standing in the way and let the market work.

@RepDonBacon Ethanol based petroleum has been horrible for engine internals, especially small engines where in gums up the fuel system and destroys carburetors. Why do i know, I’ve replaced countless since this horrible policy has been enacted. We don’t want it!

Another said we are forcing people to use E-15 to include 2-cycle engines. Wrong. We only make E-15 available year around for consumers.

Kevin Kiley (R-CA-3) (@RepKiley ) on Wednesday, May 13. The resolution (H. Res. 518) would allow consideration of H.R. 2913, which authorizes support for Ukraine. H.R. 2913, the Ukraine Support Act of the 119th Congress (2025–2026), is a legislative proposal aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s defense, tightening sanctions against Russia, and securing the return of Ukrainian children abducted during the war. Introduced in April 2025, it authorizes up to $8 billion in loans for weapons procurement through FY2026. A discharge petition is a House procedure that allows a majority of members (218) to bypass committee leadership and force a bill to the floor for a vote.
