It is great to see other validators doing this. 👏 We also implemented a shared nothing, own everything model for @ConsensusOne. Never outsource your core competency! We operate out of tier III+ datacenters, our own racks, our own hardware, our own network (we own our ASN and IP subnets) redundantly connected to 4+ tier 1 carriers, 2+ IXs plus private peering. This is what our team has done in the regulated tradfi and carrier space for 25+ years and we saw a real need within web3 and defi. Slowly but surely we will make an impact on the centralization that many chains have on a small number of hyperscalers and cloud providers.

This is a decision that we did not take lightly, but we need to do what is right for both the chain and also our delegators. We will be removing our self stake which will remove our validator from the active set WITHOUT ANY SLASH event occurring.

We have collectively taken the decision to cease validating on Sifchain. After several discussions with others in the community we can no longer say that we are upholding the integrity of the chain as a whole. We highly encourage the validator community to evaluate. DYOR. 1/2
