(7) You can be critical AND KIND. Build people up and support. Everyone faces rejection and building the skills to face that is needed. But rejection alongside language designed to hurt isn’t constructive. We need to be kinder to ourselves, students and peers

(6) for some people it may be the catalyst that makes them feel continuing in education / academia is not for them. We shouldn’t be talking about resilience, we should be addressing why it’s needed in the first place, especially in education.

@Credit_Continue Yep, new GP stopped the medication with 30 days notice saying (and I quote) "I don't feel comfortable prescribing it as I don't really know what it does, if you want to continue you will have to go private"

So I had roommates who set a boundary that I not watch tv, talk on the phone, or listen to music in my room while their dog was in the kennel downstairs They said that being disturbed with noise was crossing the dog’s boundary Considering current topic at hand, what say you?
