That literally wouldn't work successfully for a third season of a TV show, the series is set in the present, giving 90% of screentime to the past of only one of the characters where the rest of the main characters do not appear at all and don't have an arc, just doesn't work

there's smth about the need to encounter information in the way that you were expecting it that is rly throwing ppl off. first the narration and then the book beats. ppl are having a hard time facing the season *as is*, as opposed to exactly what they expected to get from it.

#tvlspoilers Surviving the wolves is a failure in itself. It was not meant to happen. Because it happened, Lestat becomes sexually desirable for Gabriella, leading to sexual assault, and later on it becomes the reason why Magnus targets Lestat, leading to his rape.

louis and lestat both consistently talk about the easy, neglectful parts of something instead of talking about what really matters. this is what lestat has been doing since ep one, louis did this in his interview and story and has been doing that this whole scene.

#tvlspoilers we start the lawyer scene with louis lying to protect himself, the rest of the scene is him ragebaiting lestat to get a rise out of him. i dont think louis' lines about lestat getting on a boat and learning the play are necessarily a direct reflection of his beliefs.
