Last day in Humboldt….the community walk, Dr Shapiro live on zoom and the last leg of the 4x4x48. Way to go Humboldt!!! #whosyour4

What a weekend in Humboldt! Started with the Dine and Dash last night…dinner,live and silent auction, duelling pianos and then the runners start the dash part…4x4x48…4miles every 4 hours for 48 hours

Headed to Humboldt Saskatchewan for another year to support the Humboldt & Area T1D Events that help fund DRIFCan and the research of Dr Shapiro. What an amazing community that gives back. Follow for our journey this weekend.

We are in Drayton Valley at the Lions Club District C1 annual conference spreading the message about Dr Shapiro and his research. Thank you University Hospital Foundation for partnering with us to seek funding.

Day 6….Our last day and was it busy. We went to Abu Dhabi.We got a tour of the Cleveland Clinic, Imperial College London Diabetes Centre and then the Abu Dhabi Research Centre. All have potential for funding and partnerships. Now to build on these new connections.

Day 5…second day for Dr Shapiro to present in the Transformation Zone of the main conference. We then took some time to walk around the diabetes booths. Interesting to see other diabetes technology from others parts of the world. Then we went with Dr Shapiro to the Burj Khalifa
